I was led to believe this was local US production. What I am seeing in the quality leads me to believe this is overseas production. The steel seem good, not sure it really is D2 but seems to be holding up like a tool steel.
The handle screws were all loose and after first use had to loktite them. The Kukri is good, however the sheath is complete unsafe and already fallen apart.
Despite being a smaller kukri it makes very quick work of branches and saplings several inches in diameter all while holding a razor sharp edge
